We have added more movement and fun to bolster the well-being tool box for the children
We have added tennis to our movement rotation--the children love to connect the racquet to the ball. This promotes exercise self-efficacy, or the belief that one can carry out successful movement/exercise regularly. Those who have higher levels of exercise self-efficacy, are more likely to carry out movement/exercise as a matter of course in their lives. The goal is to give children the tools to live a long, healthy life, in doing so, we present movement as one way to care for physical health, manage stress, and increase feel good hormones to positively impact emotional and mental health.
